Online Bibles and study tools
- blueletterbible – This site has a fairly comprehensive list of study tools including encyclopedias and dictionaries as well as searchable Bibles. <- Samuel and Tim recommends.
- net.bible.org/bible.php – a heavily foot-noted study bible with links to scholarly articles, historical and archaeological information. <- Tim recommends.
- e-sword.net – the best free Bible software. Samuel and Tim recommends downloading at least the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia and Nave’s Topical add-ons (both also free) with the main program itself.
- biblos.com – a site for viewing bible passages in several translations at once.
- hcsb.broadmanholman.com/crossmain.asp – online version of the Holman Christian Standard Bible.
- leaderu.com/ – a resource from Campus Crusade for Christ containing articles and papers on various topics by faculty of their Christian Leadership Ministries, the training branch of CCC.
- studylight.org/ – This site allows you to search by Biblical passage and access lots of online resources related to that passage.
- ccel.org/search – an extensive searchable online collection of Christian writings including many of the Early Church Fathers’ writings like Augustine and Athanasius. <- Tim recommends.
