One Day Left
One day left!
(and it’s a busy one)
Friday we finished our work at the mission and took a little break to swim and refresh. There was an awesome rock that was about 12 feet off the water to jump off of. Needless to say, we had a blast!
Friday afternoon we wrapped things up with the VBS. It seemed like no one wanted to leave as we ended over an hour late! For our final piece we presented the song “Go” that shows the Bible being held up through all of history and at the end is offered to the audience. As the Bible was about to fall, 2 of the kids took the Bible and held it. I think they got the message. This also meant saying goodbye to our friends from Washington.
Saturday we got to put on a workshop teaching others from different churches mime. We had 5 kids, 2 teens and 9 adults turn out! Even with us having to translate everything from English to Spanish, they were able to learn the mime basics and 3 songs. They were a blast to work with and want us back for the future.
Today (Sunday), we will be presenting 3 places for a total of 2 hours. Pray for is to have strength to finish well.
Finally, our mascot Jeremiah got a gat from Tecate. We searched for about an hour for him as he loves getting trinkets from wherever he travels.
We will be travelling back to Mexico early Monday, so the next time you hear from us we will be back in the U.S.A!
