Sight Seeing and Workshop 1

Hey all!!

Yesterday (Monday) was an exciting day!

Yesterday morning, we set out to visit San Francisco. We crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and took lots of pictures. That was really fun. It was sunny but a little windy and cold there. And the sky was so beautiful (as you should be able to see from the photos below).

After crossing back over the bridge, we headed to the wharf to have some lunch.

We ended up walking around. One of the girls bought souvenirs. We also went in this arcade building. That was interesting and entertaining. A few of us then bought some coffee drinks from Starbucks.

After that, we headed back down to San Jose. Our first workshop started at 4 pm. It was held at a Calvary San Jose. Feel free to check out their website: calvarysj.org.

We had three young ladies join us for the workshop. The size was small, but it was nice because we were able to get to know them better. If the group had been a lot bigger, I believe we wouldn’t have gotten to know everyone as well.

After some team debriefing, we headed to our host homes.

Host homes can be some of the most memorable and best things on a missions trip. Brooke, Sierra, and I all sat and chatted with the couple that was hosting us when we got back to their house. It was a very nice and enjoyable experience. I’m so thankful that the people that are hosting us during this trip were/are so willing to share their homes with us. What a blessing!

Please pray for our next workshop which will be held at the same church at 4 pm- 8pm this evening.

Pray for the people coming that they will be touched and drawn closer to the Lord.

Please also pray for the team’s continued health and strength. Pray that we will be unified in the things of the Lord as we draw closer to Him during this trip.

Praise the Lord for today’s successful workshop, the health of the team, the beauty of His creation (which we all get to experience each and every day), and for the amazing, unconditional love of our Savior.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support!!! We really really do appreciate it!! 🙂
